Elizabethton First Church of the Nazarene supports the global ministry efforts of the Church of the Nazarene through a variety of ways.

Our Mission

To mobilize the church in mission through prayer, education, giving and interactive experiences.

Objectives

  • To encourage people to pray for all efforts of world evangelization
  • To inform people of the world's needs and what the church is doing to meet those needs
  • To challenge children and youth to learn about  and particip ate in the mission of the church
  • To raise funds for mission outreach

  • January: Volunteer Ministries
  • February: Alabaster* - provides funds for property and buildings around the world and Valentines for Jesus - children’s project.

  • June: World Mission Broadcast – ministry statistics – 34 languages, 72 countries, and 140 programs
  • July: International Ministry, Bible Schools and Seminaries

  • December: Nazarene Compassionate Ministries – Child Sponsorship

* The entire Alabaster Offering goes toward the purchase of land and construction of churches, schools, medical facilities, and homes for missionaries and national workers.

Meet Russ and Carla Frazier, our LINKS Missionaries!

Russel and Carla Frazier

Russ and Carlar are currently serving at Africa Nazarene University in Nairobi, Kenya.  Russ serves as a senior lecturer in the religion department and the Dean of the School of Religion and Christian Ministry.  Carla serves as an assistant in the finance department.  The live on the ANU campus and enjoy their connections with the international students.

Josh, Katie, and family have be living in Sofia, Bulgaria since September 2021, and are excited to be fulfilling the call God has placed on their lives. Their primary focus while serving in Sofia is to begin the work of the Nazarene Church in Sofia.
